What To Wear To Pride 2026: Your Outfit Guide

Pride 2026 is just around the corner, and whilst cities and towns across the country are preparing for rainbow-hued celebrations, you may find yourself staring at your wardrobe wondering what the hell you’re actually supposed to wear.

And if standing in front of the mirror thinking: ‘What would Diana Ross do?’ hasn’t mustered up the inspo for your Pride outfit yet, then you’ll be pleased to know that The Spark team are on-hand to provide a chain reaction of linked-up looks that will have you not only looking amazing, but feeling amazing too.

No pressure, no stress and no rules (well, except perhaps wearing suncream — our tees were made for sparkly humans, not lobsters).

Here’s your little guide for wearing Spark with Pride!

The ‘say it without saying it’ statement outfit

Loud and proud doesn’t always have to be vocal; you can feel it in your heart whilst choosing to say it across your chest!

Our Pride t-shirts are designed to do the talking with bold, catchy slogans (you’ve probably spotted our ‘Sounds Gay I'm In’ tee at at least one UK Pride Event since we launched it!)

If you want something with a bit more weight behind it, our ‘Trans Rights Are Human Rights’ tee offers exactly that.

A Pride tee works on its own with jeans or shorts, layered under a jacket when the inevitable 4pm cloud rolls in, or knotted at the waist if you're committing to the festival look.

The "I'm here and I'm not being subtle about it" outfit

Looking for an outfit that brings main character energy from head to toe? We’ve got you babes.

Our ‘Pride Flash’ tee is a vibrant, stand-out choice and looks great with shorts and a pair of 'Sounds Gay I'm In' socks (because the details matter!)

Oh, and don’t forget to grab a Pride hoodie or sweatshirt, especially for any UK-based Pride events, with British weather giving more trust issues than your ex.

Finish the look with whatever shoes you're comfortable walking 6 miles in (for real, Pride parades are long, don’t get caught out with the wrong footwear!)

10/10 co-ordinated queen.

The proud ally outfit

Being an ally is SO important; if you don’t feel like a Pride tee aligns with you but you want to show solidarity and love, we’ve got some great options.

Our ‘Proud Friend’ tee is a great way to show up for your besties, with our ‘Proud Sibling’ tee a stunning choice for showing that all-important family support.

Tote bags from our LGBTQ+ collection are a great final accessory (and practical too!)

The Spark guide for immaculate vibes

Talking of practical stuff, preparation can mean the difference between an early exit, or celebrating until the very end.

Here are a few tips from us to you to keep your Pride as sparkly as your outfits:

Footwear: Trust us when we say…Leave the sandals at home. Your feet will thank you at hour six when you're still standing in a park waiting for the headline act, and not curled up on the floor wishing you’d brought your trainers.

Layers: Bring a hoodie, a light jacket, or at minimum a sweatshirt you can tie around your waist. The temperature will drop. It always drops.

Suncream: Even when it's cloudy (in fact, especially when it's cloudy!) Pride sunburn is a very specific and very avoidable type of suffering.

Pockets or a tote: You need your hands free for waving, dancing, holding drinks, and taking photos of your outfit that you'll post three weeks later. Wear something with pockets or grab one of our Pride totes.

UK Pride dates 2026: mark your calendar

  • Pride in London - 4 July (50th anniversary)
  • Trans Pride Brighton - 18 July
  • Leeds Pride - 18-19 July (20th anniversary)
  • Glasgow Pride - 18 July
  • Brighton & Hove Pride - 1-2 August
  • Manchester Pride - 28-31 August

And that's just the headliners! Smaller local Prides are happening in towns and cities across the country all summer you can find most of them in our Pride 2026 calendar.

Need a bit more inspo? You can view our full range of Pride products on our website.

The short version

Wear what makes you feel like you. Add a Pride tee if you want your outfit to do the talking, or keep it subtle with accessories from the LGBTQ+ collection.

Happy Pride. See you out there. 🏳️‍🌈
